Incursion
It's been well over a year since we last posted about any news, I would love to say we have been busy gaming in that time, but the truth is, we have been very very inactive. Our inactivity can be put down simply to a total lack of games that managed to hold our interest for more than a month.
We did play all the usual suspects like Battlefield, Call Of Duty and the odd MMO etc but found nothing we could get our teeth into either casually or competitively, that is the only reason we took an unwanted hiatus but with a few new games about to be released in 2011, things just may be about to change.

One of the games being talked about on the forums at the moment is Red Orchestra : Heroes Of Stalingrad, although not released untill the summer the game looks and sounds excellent and the talk of forming a team is starting to gather momentum.
Red Orchestra is a realism based WW2 shooter which is a genre we are well versed in having spent many years playing similar games, If the game delivers and meets our expectations then it's quite possible that we could once again be dominating a battlefield near you!

As stated it's been a very long time since any type of content was published on the site, over the next few months we will start to add more content including interview's and reviews of the games we play. IHV has started to write a review of the game 'Shogun : Total War 2' which will be published soon, there will also be an interview with long term member Inc | Verge.

Thats it for now, stay tuned!

Well it's been a while since the last update, and we've been doing quite a bit.

10 of us have bought Moto GP 08, and we have created our own championship.
All the members who bought the game, were put into a hat and drawn into pairs, then names of 5 constructors were drawn too.

In pre-season, Dragon has been seeting the pace, by blitzing all of us and quite comfortably. Is he good or are we crap I ask? It seems as though I should of cheated and made Dragon & Release partners for the championship....oh wait Dragon is Release's partner, it's just a shame they got the Ducati which is probably the fastest bike, so looks like this could be over well before the final race. So anyway a little bit about the championship. There are 18 races in the season, and we're doing a race distance of 10 laps. I think if we did the full race, Az would end up driving round the wrong way, Verge and Playstation would be trading kisses next to each other going round the track in tandem and Absinthe & Rage would knock each over off every second corner.

So last Sunday we had our 1st race on the Losail circuit in Qatar. You would never of predicted what happened....Dragon won and set the fastest lap, Verge & Playstation finished 2nd and 3rd, not sure if they were sitting on the same bike or not, I might need a screenshot as proof, and Absinthe and Rage traded more paint then B&Q's. I wont mention what happened to the Honda's but things didn't go to plan. This Sunday we're supposed to be racing in Spain on the Jerez circuit.
If you want to see who's winning, check this link: === STANDINGS ===

Release might drop out and stop playing as his legs have been playing up a bit recently and he still thinks he needs to kickstart the bike online, So if you have the game I see no reason why we couldn't slip you in mid-season. You'd be doing Dragon a favour as I'm sure he'd like to pick up both the Riders & Constructors titles!

As far as CoD5 goes, were still waiting on Clanbase to get their act together on a mod etc. But team wise we're ready to rock, although the more people we can get in the better. The servers are all still going strong, with the 24 slot server sometimes still full at 3am!!

We've now started to put member interviews on the site. Abraxus's was the first to go up and you can check that out by clicking on the interviews tab on the left hand site under the info section. Not sure who is next maybe one of the newer guys like Cookie Wookie, we'll see. At the moment there's quite a lot of variety on what's going on gaming wise. A couple of people are playing Company of Heroes, some are playing Poker and GTA IV is still a hit too! Online is one of the funniest games I have ever seen. There nothing like looking like a thug speeding up the rode on your wannabe pizza delivery bike, being overtaken by pedestrians calling you gay etc, only to see a Bazooka hit you and send you over a roof in the next street. There's been a few tears of laughter there thats for sure.

Anyway, I've got to get back to putting in some decent laptimes so thats it from me for now, I'll post again next week to let you know how the 2nd race went.

Well it's finally here. 2009 has arrived and we are now actively recruiting. We don't have a recruitment policy as such in the clan. Basically it doesn't matter what skill level you are, as long as you have a good attitude, like playing games a few hours a week and we all get along. There is none of this 2 week trial crap forcing you to have [TRN] at the end of your name, or any silly ranks like most other clans do. Once you are in, you are in. Most of the members we have in the clan now have all been around for at least 2 years, and I've known some for about 5 years. When people join they tend to stay, it's a real good environment to be a part of with many characters. That's got me thinking. We'll have to add some interview profle type thingy for all the current members to the site explaining a little bit about us all!

So whats the current situation with the clan? Well we currently have 4 servers as listed below:

Teamspeak: 85.236.100.35:9797
This has a password, but we'll probably remove it, as long as it's not abused of course so feel free to drop on when you are gaming with us!

COD Public #1: 212.187.209.147:28960
This is a 24 slot server with 3000XP per kill. If you need to prestiege then this is the place to do it. There is normally always an admin around on the server if someone is spoling the fun for everyone else, if not drop me a message and I'll be happy to help out. Just log onto Xfire and add me!!! "incpain". Server rules, well to be honest there are only 3! Frag the enemies, Resect everyone on there and No Martyrdom perk!! This server as you can imagine is always active, I know the past few days I've been on till 3am and it's still rocking!

COD Public #2: 85.236.100.219:29960
This is our 2nd server, which is 12 slots and used for our scrims and matches. It's nice to have a 2nd server so you don't have to kick all the regulars on the public because we have a match and need to lock it down. When we're not having matches on here its also open to the public, so again feel free to join and cause carnage with whatever your weapon of choice is.

CS:S Server Public #1: 83.142.49.83:28015
This is an 18 slot public server, which we also use for matches & scrims. This is a game you can always fire up and vent some frustration out on. Whether your an AWP whore like me, or a camping mofo like....better not name names there is always another gamer around the corner ready to take the pure BS luck headshot they had always wished for .

On the Call of Duty front we have 8 people in the clan now that have the game as Absinthe & Release have now got it, but we'd ideally like to bolster this my a couple of people to have some regular matches everyweek, being able to mix up the teams. There is a league on Clanbase we we have now joined and plan to get some matches underway shortly. We are waiting for another couple of places to put some leages up like enemydown etc, but Clanbase just seem to be the ones who have got their act together the quickest.

With regards to the Counter-Strike:Source side of the team, we all have the game, we all play it and would probably all take part in a team, I know I definately would. It's just with all the new games out like GTA IV and COD:WaW and a certain member's new found love for monopoly lol time is quite limited and we can't spend our whole lives on the PC! There has been talk of starting up the old team what did so well in the Jolt & EnemyDown leagues (Top Tier Division in both), but not quite sure if that is going to happen yet, we'll have to wait and see, but watch this space. Don't forget if you are interested in joining the team, post on the shoutbox on the site, or post on the forums and we'll get you hooked up straight away!

First & foremost we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of our members and followers. 2009 looks to be a promising year for us on the gaming front. We already have 2 servers, 12 & 24 slots thanks to Abraxus & R4T which are up and running and very popular, (might have something to do with 3000 XP per kill on the latter).

In the new year we will be looking to join a league for CoD5 of which we are looking for a couple of new faces, so if you think you fit the bill, post a note on the forums and we'll contact you and get you involved. We are still getting to grips with Pro & Pam mod at the moment, scrimming a few times a night, but they're not as bad as originally thought, nevertheless improvements to the mods still need to be made.

Other things we are looking at getting our teeth into? Well there is Grand Theft Auto 4, which just looks to be a game you can have a real good laugh with. From looking at a few videos around the net many of us were instantly intrigued by this and quite frankly in stitches at some of the clips, so there will probably be a lot of this going on over the festive period.

Things in the Counter-Strike:Source department seem to be doing well with scrims going on there frequently. Not sure if a team is going to be formed but we would welcome this if someone wanted to do it. CS:Source is a game we all go back to a one point or another for a while and playing other games does realise how good this actually is, again if you are interested just let us know!

So all in all next year is looking like it could be a very active year for us. Lets hope Santa brings you everything you ask for....Zombie mod for Abraxus, Fountain of youth for Release or a time machine...not sure what he would prefer, a new PC for Az, some free time for Des so he can play with us lol, some sound proof walls for R4T for those late nights, oh and I wouldn't mind a nice new plasma TV. Anyone I miss out??? Sorry! but even Santa feels the credit crunch!

Roll on 2009!

*Pain signing off!!
Call of Duty 5 : World At War
It's been over a month since the last update but things are now starting to gather momentum, the team has finally formed and we have yet another brand new server for you all to enjoy, read on

As stated above we have finally formed a team, although small on numbers at the moment we feel it already has quite a strong line up and with the players knowing each others game so well it shouldn't be to long untill we are a force to be reckoned with. We will start scrimming in the next week or so in preperation for some ladder play at either Enemydown or Clanbase.

We may recruit later but as of now the line up is as follows :

- Abraxus
- Az [ Captain ]
- Des
- IHV
- Pain
- Rat

Im happy to announce that we also have ourselves a brand new 24 slot server courtesy of Rat, at this moment in time we are still debating on what setting's to use etc but should have it sorted and live for Sunday/Monday at the latest.

The server will probably run the larger maps whilst our 12 slot server will host the smaller maps and be our match server, information including the IP's for both servers can be found on our gameserver page.

Thats about it for now, be sure to check the forums for any updates regarding scrims/practice.
